For those of you who’ve spent any time in a Las Vegas recently, you will have seen the surge in advertising for sports betting apps. While mobile gambling has long been a stature at the offshore sportsbooks (see our top 5 listing here, it has become a new and booming trend in the Sin City. This is a move that is far welcomed by the sports community as a whole and it opens up a slew of benefits for the conventional sports bettor.
Let us touch on the multitude of advantages that this brings about for the bettor.
Advantages to Sports Betting Apps
1. No waiting in line in sports counter: There might be nothing more frustrating then trying to run until the counter to put a bet before a game begins only to find the line ten people deep! This all but guarantees that you will not get your bet in on time. This is commonplace during soccer season and while other large sporting events are taking place, such as March Madness. Together with the sports gambling apps, one is literally a couple clicks away from having their bet placed.

The B Linked Sports program is not a bad app whatsoever and is backed by Boyd Gaming, which has a bunch of casinos which are off the strip. Now, there just is not anything to set this program apart from the very best apps on this listing.

#9 — Treasure Island Mobile Sports
The app (constructed by Miomni) is strong. The drawback is that Treasure Island doesn’t have a huge supply of sports in their book. To find this app, an individual must possess a Treasure Island Player’s Club card (this is pretty standard). Still another disadvantage is that betting through the app does not get you any specials points or rewards with all the Player’s Club. To put it differently, there is actually no fantastic reason to using this program over any of the better ones further down this listing. On a positive side note, there is no greater place than Treasure Island to play Blackjack on the strip!

#8 — CG Technology
One can make the argument that this is a good program to have so you have a variety in odds, but this is the only reason we would now recommend it. We found this app to be bothersome buggy and not especially user friendly. However, as our last review on this program there are a lot of bug fixes which have made this program far more secure than previously. If CG Technology can keep this trajectory in tact they then could move up this list come football season.

#7 — PlayMGM
PlaymgmFor the time being, the PlayMGM program has a lot more negatives then positives. We will start with the drawbacks. First, we absolutely can not stand the first home display of this app. In each other sports betting app that we employed, one simply must type in their pin or password to log into the apparatus.

With the PlayMGM program, you must type your snare and then your date of arrival every single time. Secondly, once within the program, the home webpage interface is messy and convoluted (see picture to the right). We can not truly be sure what the program manufacturers were thinking here. It looks like their attempt was to make the biggest games simple to find, but what you’re left with is a hodgepodge of games all over the screen. This makes finding a game harder then if a easy interface has been used. Third, and this is not actually the fault of the program, the odds at MGM would be the worst that you’ll find in Vegas. If anyone can find a sportsbook that takes a greater vigthen please send us a message and let us know. Last, the stakes that are made do not tie in anyway to the MLife program.
On the positive side, the PlayMGM program does work really nicely. We’ve yet to experience any crashes, major hiccups, or any other type of drawback concerning using the program. PlayMGM also one of a couple sports gambling apps that features live gambling! And with live betting, MGM pretty much knocks it out of the park with options on a great deal of games and a seamless process to get those bets in quickly.
While this app certainly needs some work, we believe it is a pretty decent start to PlayMGM.

#6 — Wynn
Wynn SportsThe program was constructed and is powered by Miomni Gambling which is a business which has built a few of the sportsbook apps for Nevada casinos. Their apps are usually well done and the work they did together with the Wynn did not disappoint.

As is a frequent theme you will see in this blog, there is not too much disparity between the apps which were created by Miomni Gaming. Their arrangement and appearance is quite consistent across the board and you will find limited differences. That said, the items that place the apps apart are usually in the way the sportsbooks function themselves. The Wynn does not need much encouraging since they are renowned as a superb property!
The signup in the property has been fairly standard. One needs to complete a bunch of kinds and also a W-9 and then wait about ten minutes while a customer support agents inputs all the info to a computer. The first deposit is instantly deposited and the bettor is prepared to go.
The app interface is solid and consistent. Like MGM though, the Wynn is a little bit slow to receive their lines out for contests. Unlike MGM, however, the Wynn has competitive lines with a very low vig and a selection of sports which matches the best sportsbooks in Las Vegas.

The very first thing that we really enjoy about the app is that it does not look like all the others. The interface is simple and efficient which every category of matches coming with a corresponding emblem. A very cool feature (the shockingly no one else has done yet) is the“Enabled“ feature which shows up on the display allowing the consumer to understand whether the games can be bet.
Though the South Point Sports Book is available 24 hours each day, the sport program has more restricted hours in the assortment of 9am to 11pm (though this varies daily and is subject to change). A good advantage to incorporating the NV Sports program to your arsenal is they are in the upper-tier of sportsbooks in terms of line offerings. To put it differently, they have better odds than most sportsbooks and is consequently a place you can find the most value.

#4 — Caesar’s Sports
Caesar’s SportsThough Caesar’s was quite late in the game in receiving their program to market, they finally released the product in December of 2017. The program was performed by Miomni Gaming and as mentioned before, there is reallyn’t much to distinguish this app from the others which were made by them. The 1 benefit that does place Caesar’s apart from the Wynn is you do earn Reward Credits and Tier Credits as you would if you placed a bet in one of the Caesar’s property sportsbooks. The credits now take approximately 48 hours to appear on your Total Rewards account, but Caesar’s is working on an update to make this happen in real time. This app remains a work-in-progress, and also for now, we’ll slot Caesar’s here in the 4th spot.

#3 — Westgate

Frankly, narrowing the top three wasn’t an easy task as all the next 3 programs can make a situation to be #1. The Superbook in the Westgate now sits on top of the list for our Top 5 Las Vegas Sportsbooks and their app provides all of the very same odds that their brick-and-mortar business uses.
Among the biggest benefit of using the Westgate Superbook app is their breadth of alternatives for betting. Only looking at baseball, an individual can see in the picture on the best the alternatives for alternate run lines, home runs, the Cy Young award, etc.. As we write this review, we could not locate any other sportsbook programs that had these choices to wager and this is just baseball! The Superbook also covers a vast array of“Autos“, Australian Rules Football, and school baseball playoffs to name a couple. Further, the Superbook generally has the cheapest vig of all the sportsbooks, so there is nowhere you can go for more value for your money. If all of this were not sufficient, the Superbook now has the best benefits program going with each $3.30 bet making a stage in the Westgate Player’s Club. With each 100 points equaling a $1 at free stuff, some big stakes can make you a generous number of freebies!
There are two downsides to using the Superbook program. One is that they seem to be somewhat limited in the number of events that one can live wager. Two, and this is a little one, is that we did not get any bonus for signing up.
All said and done, we certainly feel that this program needs to be added to your arsenal of sports gambling apps!

#2 — STN Sports
STN Sports AppSTN Sports is a part of the Stations Casino brand that owns and runs are all variety of casinos that are located away from the primary strip in vegas. As a side note, when you haven’t been to a few of those casinos then we highly suggest checking these out. Across the board, these are most well-run casinos in Las Vegas and their machines have the most competitive odds in town. This app is also made by Miomni Gambling and, as we mentioned previously, they do an excellent job with their apps.
There are a variety of things that we love about this app. To begin with, once your first wager is created, you are automatically given thirty dollars in free play to use in a Stations Casino. Second, this is one of only two sportsbook programs that now ties in the rewards program (which could be located at SCLV). For each dollar wager on sports, the bettor gets one stage and one credit in their player’s club card. At the moment, 100 points equivalent a buck, and all this can be used free of charge play, dining or other conveniences at the casinos. This advantage has been that the deciding factor in setting STN Sports just ahead of this Superbook program.
The one disadvantage for STN Sports is that their lack of live gambling on most events, but this is really the only real downside to the STN Sports app. Overall, it should be obvious that we provide this one very high marks as it comes in at #2 on our list.

#1 — William Hill
William Hill Sports AppLast however, we come to our current preferred sports gaming program in William Hill. A sportsbook based out of the uk, William Hill began placing their footprints in the U.S. within the last five years or so. They’re a really reputable book and their brick-and-mortar business is well respected.

The only real negative to William Hill is that it’s a third-party sportsbook that doesn’t connect to any casino’s rewards program. This isn’t a terribly huge drawback since STN Sports is currently the only app that rewards the bettor by using their player’s club.
We place the William Hill Program at #1 for a few important reasons. To start, they’ll pay a free 10% marketing on any first deposit up to $500. This comes with a 1x rollover, so if $500 is deposited then one may see their $50 bonus after they make their initial $500 in bets. Second, the betting interface is well designed and user friendly. One can see in the example to the right exactly what the gambling screen appears like for Major League Baseball. Third, William Hill places a close second to the Superbook in the amount of sports betting options that they have available. Lastly, and it is the thing that actually sets William Hill apart, is that their broad range of event selection for live gambling. That is, undoubtedly, the most impressive live gambling system which we reviewed in their thickness, usability and options.
So, for now, William Hill is the top sports book app! We will review these programs every six weeks or so and provide updates and changes if there are not any!
