Stuart Findlay is convinced his Kilmarnock boss Steve Clarke is capable of bringing success to the national side.
Clarke chose the Ayrshire side into third place and into Europe, when he took over in October 2017, after theyd been bottom of the desk.
He replaced Alex McLeish at the Hampden hot-seat at the summer but has listed one win in four games – both fixtures were against Belgium, rated No 1 in the world.
After being called to the squad earlier this week to the European Qualifiers double-header against Russia and San Marino as a replacement for the injured Liam 39, central defender Findlay is expecting to win his first Scotland cap and he also has absolute faith in the strategies of Clarke.
He explained:I wasnt involved for the last squad but that I was there for the first one and you will tell that he did things a similar approach to how at Kilmarnock because obviously it was a winning formula.
I have a whole lot of confidence that it is going to breed success for Scotland too.
Ive worked long enough to know just how he works and how he receives the boys playing with his manner.
I have complete confidence that the outcomes for Scotland is going to be the manner that we need them very shortly.
It is about having faith. It can be a good thing, In case you have faith in the supervisor, that I know I understand the boys at Scotland have and the boys at Kilmarnock had.
He gave the group a base to build up and people began to thrive below that.
We have an individuality and the players could build out of this and obviously once you get some great results assurance begins to build and certain individuals start to shine
Findlay claims his game and he is currently looking for the opportunity to demonstrate that at international level.
He said:I came on leaps and bounds under the supervisor at Kilmarnock. Its a trust thing, Ive far more belief in.
I have been in several squads earlier and I understand that I am capable of becoming this level and it is something that I am seeking to prove.
I have been given this opportunity and all I can do is try to do myself happy once Im here.
